I know this is long overdue, ...but...
I arrived in Sydney, its bee-yoo-ti-ful and I haven't even been to the city yet.
Alright and so I packed my bags all ready to go off. But I did have excess baggage. Not a lil I tell you. My mum and I totalled 70kgs. Haha hers was bout 10 whereas mine was the rest. I don't know where, what and why the blooday bags were like so heavy. It could've been that the empty suitcases itself totalled bout 12 kgs. Damn.
But hey ABDA is the solution to excess baggage. What they offer for door to airport is just RM17 per kilo with minimum of 15 kgs. No prob la for me, easily exceeded. And that means they collect the baggage from ur house and send it to the airport and you pick it up yourself there. Not bad rite ? Beats paying 72 bucks per kilo for MAS excess and especially if you're the type that doesn't understand the meaning of pack light.
Oh but what's important is that you remember to send it a day or two earlier. Call the ppl to come a day or two earlier cuz if you don't then you'll have to return to the freight/cargo terminal AGAIN. Maafan ness I tell you.
My flight was at 6AM. Stupiak Austrian/Lauda Air or as the relos call it, Laucha Air. This was a transiting flight from Vienna to Sydney, transiting in KL. So basically mine was a direct flight there. I also wanted to try Austrian Air because its a hell lot cheaper and since I've never taken anything but MAS before and also that they were gonna stop flying soon. Might as well lar.
And OMG I've never seen so many guai lous before in KLIA. On the plane, and in the airport were those taking the same flight. And you actually wonder ; where the hell you were and whether you were in Syd already. There were only like 10 Asians on the plane or sth, that's including me and my mum summore kay. Full flight.
What you find on Austrian Air is basically :
- A lot of guai lous and guai pos
- A few lonely students also migrating to Australia, but they really look lost and confused. Even got to know this garl who studied in HELP and turns out we have mutual friends. Gosh its a small world!
- A lotta babies, for some reason. And they're really cute.
- Hot stewardesses with nice RED outfits, whether skirts or pants, with matching red stockings and shoes to boot.
- Old grannies who decide to do yoga in the aisle and when you're flying economy its damn pissing off =). this particular woman exercises and touches her toes and of all places in a plane
- Ppl who step on the armrests to get to their window or middle seats.
Don't blame them really. Its so tight and despite being a B777-200 aircraft, the seats are positioned in such a way that if you're not the type to fall under the category of slim/thin, it would be impossible for others to get into their seats. And so they step all over the armrests to get to their seats. The food is also way better than Mas. At least for me la.
The only thing is that its not really that fun to catch a flight at 6a.m. cuz have to check in by 4 and leave the house at 3 to go to airport. Equals very little sleep. As for me, slept at 10 pm sth the day before only to be woken up at 2am. Sighs not fun at all mann. Received an uber long msg, 7 msges long and super sweet. As always =) That pretty much woke me up. Had tomyam for supper/breakfast at 2am. The most disorientated day of my life basically.
Left for relos, then left for airport togeda. Had plenty-ful of problems at check-in la basically considering all the baggage.
Couldn't sleep at all in the plane due to my over-sensitivity to motion. i.e not being able to sleep in any thing moving, cars, buses, planes, trains and what not.
So got there all bleary-eyed and pissed off. But took a cab out to Liam's place and everything changed. Just the views from inside the cab, the friendly environment, the warm skies, rays of sun shining right through the window was all it took for me to lurv Syd the moment I set my eyes on it. Even if it was only a lil while.
Arrived in Kingsford. The most popular suburb for students going to uni besides Randwick. This suburb is so Asian already. Stores and stores and restaurants of Asian heritage. Everything Asian, ranging from Malaysian, indonesian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, to Vietnamese food. And the food here is actually good. I was looking forward to craving for Malaysian food cuz like I thought when I go to Aus it'll be all western until I get so bored that I will want to just have a lil taste of our Asian culinary delights. Oh wells happy moment and craving over. I find it a lil overwhelming also, how this place has converted into a totally different environment from what it really used to be. Feels like it'd lost its flavour. But somehow only I do, and nobody else is complaining.
Made few trips to uni, its huge and I get so tired just by walking up and down the lower campus. Looks like I can definitely afford to put on more weight cuz somehow I'll lose it by climbing the oh-so-fun Basser Steps. Btw did ya know that the servings here are huge and I have somewhat of a problem trying to gobble it up and stuffing it in, in that tiny tummy of mine. Haha I wish la. Looks like an interesting place where I'm going to spend most of my 4 years here, so why not? And the people on campus, wells basically it doesn't get any more diverse than this. From guys, girls, gays, punks, lesb, old men, soft-spoken na pots, Asians, mat sallehs, the fashion conscious, the nerds, the hot, the not. Neva seen such a mix before.
But there's always gonna be a first time, and somehow I just feel, somewhere deep inside of me, that I'm gonna learn to love this place. :)
Btw never get an Aussie/ Optus prepaid. It finishes like real fast. Used AUD30 for first two days, and another AUD30 for the next two. Ex giler. Missed paying 1 sen for sms. Ish.

Greetings from Sydney babeh!
Anyways, I'm in Sydney now. Had a look around the uni and the whole (almost) of kingsford suburb. My tour guides (cousins, oops) all telling..this is..that is..Telling us all the best places to eat and all. You reading this. COME COME to Syd, I'll take you around. Gonna be the expert of all these places.
Neways I'm going out for dinner now and so much for the complete blog. But I'll finish it when I'm on msn later when not so busy. Definitely wanna update on everything.
Oh yea, and I got an Aussie Optus number already. So no need to call me Msian number nemore..Tataz!
Oh btw, did ya know that during summer here, when its 8pm its still bright. Like as though its 5.30 there? Still not used to it. And now 8.30 pm is pitch-black.

In 3 days..
I thought I was a pro packer since I pack every week when I stay at my relos' to go to Taylors. Haha if you stay in Setiawangsa and you have to travel to Subang Jaya every day, you'll know what a pain-in-the-ass it is la. So every Sunday night, I prepare this TINY luggage bag to stay there for a week.
But turns out I'm not a real pro after all. SO many gaps. Must. Repack.
20 hours later : I pack again, this time its the pre-packing test check. I managed to squash another 4.5 kgs into my first bag. So now I have one that weighs almost 15kgs..
Very very bad.
Not turning out as I wish.
Second bag.
I tried to weigh it, tried to carry it to the weighing scale. My scale is on the other side of the room marr. But dammit, it WON't LIFT! It did, but not much. *Drops bag on the floor*
Plan B. Carry the weighing scale over to the hard suitcase. Ahh, that's much easier.
But it was uber impossible..
I could barely barely lift that bag onto the weighing scale. There could be only 2 reasons why it was so hard for me to lift it.
No.1 I was too weak.
Or 2. it was too heavy.
Dammit, I really wished it was no.1. But ehehe, its not. Although I don't work out or have muscles, ahaha this hard suitcase was really really heavy.
It was 24kgs. Maybe 24kgs doesn't seem like a lot, but when I lifted it up to carry around, ahh can feel it strap breaking. Hope it doesn't. Please lah. I currently have this horrible thought running through my mind, at the airport, I am dragging my luggage when all of a sudden,
PTANG!
The luggage handle crumbles under my little dainty fragile fingers.
Ehh, ehh. Not a very nice thought lorr.
All my things in that bag would come spilling out.
And what's in that bag you ask?
Haha, lots of nonsense. Pairs and pairs of shoes. Not that many la, I just chose my top ten favourites because I know it'll be heavy. Ehehe including winter boots. My God, that pair was like damn heavy weii. I dunno how la.
And stationery. Haha, apparently stationery there is like uber expensive. So I decided to bring half a ream of the double A paper. Maybe that's why it's so bloody heavy. Not to mention test pads, notebooks, calendar
What else ? Wells more clothes.
So basically I am in a dilemma. My mum and I have a total bag count at 7 plus a box with rice cooker. I really hope we remember to claim all our things.
I used to laugh when we wait at the conveyer belt for our luggage and suddenly one box of pensonic rice cooker or sth comes out.
Haha but then again I am easily amused.
Bag 1 : clothes
Bag 2 : clothes + shoes + books + stationery
Bag 3 : clothes + bags
I haven't even put in the others, towels, quilts, bedsheets, belts, scarves, underwear, socks, electrical gadgets and all its wires and usb cables and chargers, glasses and not to mention electric toothbrush.
Someone save me please.
I have to pack again, and be constantly
" Lee Na you don't know how to pack laa. During my time when I went to Melbourne I only brought one bag you know...
...ONE bag!!"
"Not like you.."
"During my time..."
"Nowadays.."
"You better re-pack.."
"Move some of...that.. here"
"don't bring so many clothes la. You..."
"you don't need so much for first year..."
"nyek nyek nyek.. bla bla bla..."
"Excess baggage is verry expensive. You heard bout that woman who paid 2k plus for her extras"..
This is turning out much harder than I thought.
Oh wells, bye evbd! Next time I blog I'll be in Aussie already!

Being part of a fool
I've been there before and I just can't let go,
The memories and pain of the hurt I know;
Now deep in the night and there's passion inside,
Dare I follow my heart?
An innocent smile, then a walk in the night,
Then it's dinner at home served with candlelight;
And it's been quite a while since I felt good inside,
Dare I follow my heart?
Do I feel something special inside of you?
Do I know what you really think of me?
And the raindrops keep falling into my heart,
And I just can't deny what feels so right;
Do I let myself go and feel the rain?
Or should I play with caution and refrain?
Whatever I do, when it comes to you,
I know sometimes love plays the part of a fool.
I know what's in store,
though I can't say much more,
A chance worth the taking has opened its doors;
And I can't say I love you, but I can't say I don't,
Oh, I do wish I knew.
Do I feel something special inside of you?
Do I know what you really think of me?
And the raindrops keep falling into my heart,
And I just can't deny what feels so right;
Do I let myself go and feel the rain?
Or should I play with caution and refrain?
Whatever I do, when it comes to you,
I know sometimes love plays the part of a fool.
And the raindrops keep falling into my heart,
And I just can't deny what feels so right;
Do I let myself go and feel the rain?
Or should I play with caution and refrain?
Whatever I do, when it comes to you,
I know sometimes love plays the part of a fool.
Whatever I do, when it comes to you,
I know sometimes love plays the part of a fool.

I've got a piece of cotton gauze up my mouth and it won't stop bleeding.
One of the things I was supposed to do was to get a pair of sunglasses (YAY!) and also a pair of spare glasses. Just in case la, something happens like if I misplace it, OR I sit on it. That kinda thing. So this smart ppl from I-CARE Optometry in Bangsar Village called me up the other day and said "Hey, your glasses are ready and you can come pick it up". Turns out only one was ready. The other wasn't. But since they saw a pair of ready specs they made the call. Hmph. Gerammms. And Dad wasn't too pleased. Blamed me for not asking properly. Dammit gotta make another round back there.
OK.
Eyes.
Check.
Now now what else next? Teeth la. Just like optometrist's fees are like cut throat there, i'm pretty sure dentist's are also. 'Snot like here cheap also lo. Here already I bet my dentist is like living very very comfortably sumwhere and blardy rich la. In Aus, I just can't imagine. And moral of story: visit the dents before leaving. Exactly what I did. And so Dr. Hooi my dentist said that all my teeth were great, except one. It was badly decayed, beyond hope.
Nola, not that bad. But basically I had to
And so after makaning my lunch, I went for the extraction. Cuz apparently once my tooth is extracted I can't talk or eat. I thought waht bullshite la. I will forever hold grudges against this dentist. Because he removed a part of me that stayed true to me for like wat 17 yrs? So rite now I feel like bitching bout him. I don't really trust this fella at all. He came so close to me that I could hear his stomach rumbling. Apparently, he skipped his lunch to finish his appointment with me. Hmm. And everytime he said 'Is it alrite? If you feel pain at anytime, you tell me and I'll stop'. But he didn't. There was once I asked him to pause, he just went on. Sighz. I checked his qualifications. Melbourne. Hais. No comments la. Noob.
I wanted the other dentist who could do extraction too, damn pro. But he only comes in on Sat. But I only had one Sat left. Couldn't waste it on my teeth la. And so I had no choice. Which explains my title. 9 hours later from my extraction my teeth is still bleeding. Not as much as just now la but still. Well I don't really blame it on him la. My fault. I continued talking and talking and eating. And even fell asleep when I had that gauze in my mouth. When we all know that pressure must be applied. That means, BITE. Hard. But still. I hate the taste of blood in my mouth. Its just really gooey, icky and yucky. Oh, and I got to keep my decayed tooth as a souveneir.
Yea sure, tie it around a chain to my neck.
Alright.
Teeth.
Check.
And lastly, HAIR la. My mum said "You're not gonna cut your hair for a year". What? I was thinking that in Aus bout my hair going all barbarianish but still couldnt go to the saloon cuz Mum said so. Anyways, went to the same saloon I 've been going for the past donkey years la. With my favourite stylist, Jimmy. Had to wait my turn and was alternately flipping through pages of the SAM Econs Essentials Textbook and pages of Elle Singapore. Also they served me some tea which I refused to drink because that bloody (literally) gauze was still in my mouth. Then I would be drinking BLOOD-flavoured tea. Not a very nice thought.
My hair freaking looks the same. Only much thinner. But you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. That's why I love Jimmy.
Hair.
Check.

Of fuel and oil...
Woot! I haven’t blogged in a week! It’s been so long since I last posted and that was before I even got my UNSW offer. YAY! And so I did get what I wanted. What I’ve been waiting for so long. SO SO long. Well not really la. It was a quick decision actually but neways. I wanted to go to SYDNEY! SYDNEY! Its great to finally go and balik kampung. Cuz like every CNY I am like kampung-less. Everybody gets to go back to their respective places while I’m stuck in KL. My dad’s whole troop gang all from KL and my mum from KB which is like so far, and not very interesting. And so we spend every single CNY here.
But still, can’t wait to start uni. Can’t wait to leave, can’t wait to meet new people, discover new food, encounter different cultures, explore all the places and so much more. On the other hand, its so hard to leave the place you’ve called home for like 15 years. It’s not easy. There are so many things and sometimes you just wished you had more time.
But time waits for no man. Or woman. Can’t believe it. I have like 10 days left here. Great la.
The past few days was busy doing this and that. Sorting out accommodation, flight tickets and all. Very disappointed and still is for rejecting an accommodation offer too. It just seemed too perfect to be true. A non-student housie, working woman, wouldn’t disturb me cuz then I can hog the toilet when she’s away, she’s a woman, well yea, an Asian, a Chinese chinese who speaks English with a strong Aussie accent. That means I would’ve the best opportunity to learn to speak Mandarin. And I would also have a chance to pick up the Aus accent. Rent’s not too expensive, close to uni. New place, modern building, security, fully furnished and I can have my own space.
But when do we ever get what we want? Oh well, its gone and no use complaining bout it la. Things like that always happen to me what. Hmph. Missed chances.
Besides having enuff time to pack, there are also a lot more things I had to sort out and one of them was driving. Must get P before I go. I don’t care. So me and Yang headed to the bangi place again. Turns out a lot of people actually re-sit the test. Oh wells, a lot of familiar faces.
Neway, got to know another garl and her story was really touching. Thought about it for a long time. Didn’t know how lucky I was. She was just like a random stranger but she told me bout why she was so SAD after we both passed the parking test. All this in fluent Cantonese on her part and the occasional bits of Mandarin when I went like ‘Huh?’. Turns out her English is mediocre or below average and she can only speak in Canto. Oh wells, must follow suit ma. Super hard. But yea she did tell me why she was ‘hen kong bu’ after the test. Felt damn bad for her. She’s a nice person and I know she doesn’t deserve this. Thought about it and maybe it was time I didn’t take life so for granted, and get my bloody fat ass to not shake leg so much. This sentence doesn’t really make much sense.
But then once again I got into an emo bout again. I’ve been doing this all week. Ish get out of your senses woman! All this thanks to emo ppl, emo songs and what not la.
After driving we took a KTM back to MV then cab back to house. First time I took a KTM. OMG the KTM is so SLOOWW. It’s like there are times when you just feel like getting to the front of the train and try to drive it yourself. And believe me, I had the urge to do it more than once. Haihs, when we finally got out, I was like restless di.
Went back to Popo’s. She taught me how to cook. I know we all say our grandma’s the best cook ever, but haha you’re wrong. Mine’s the best la. I really admire my Popo la. She’s not that young, she’s 76 like my dad says, but sometimes he also can’t remember wan. I think he just gave some random number. But she’s around that age, and she’s still going strong. She’s strong both physically and mentally. She’s quite active for her age, don’t compare to some young athlete la, but hey she’s does way more walking and exercising than me. Which is zero for me. So like everything bigger than zero rite? Yea, and she also used to smoke. Which she managed to get out of that badd habit. Its VERY hard to quite smoking, I know that. Do you know anyone else who has quit? I do but not many. That proves to me that she’s got damn strong willpower la.
And did I say she’s a great cook already? That’s why I’m kinda like taking a crash course from her or sth. I’ll never be a pro like that la. Her cooking a bit the complicated haha and all do the pro way wan, through touch and taste kinda thing. I’ll neva measure up to that but hu cares la? Not like I wanna win cooking competition or nething. Just wanna be able to survive haha. And their maid is like totally hopeless. Not to mention after being with Popo for 2 years, she can hardly cook ne dishes. That’s what they all said la. But then again, Popo has very high standards. Not only that, this maid is like BLIND at night. Erm like literally la. God knows what is wrong with her. I thought when the maids come here they have to like fill a form with questions or sth. Maybe she lied on this one.
Anda BISA melihat pada waktu malam?
Stupiak fella, but she’s quite funny to watch. Think she’s under 5 feet and has AFRO hair. Hehe cute? NOT. Always give headaches to Popo wan. Poor Popo. And once again, I drift outta topic when I was talking about…

cooking. Yes cooking is so different from eating it. My favourite pastime. When eating all I do is comment and criticize whereas for cooking, you actually get to see the whole process from raw food to what you see on the table. Duhh la, but..
Haha, its different la.
This is such a long and draggy post I know but hey, its my rantings.
Neways, I really should start packing. Its 10 days away.

Aus education.
IDP also invited a few students from Msia who have or still are studying abroad in Australia. Interesting bunch from all over. Melb U, UNSW, Uni SA, Adelaide U, RMIT, few more I think. There were 3 students from UNSW. All 3 are members of the Malaysian Student Organisation (MSO) on campus. They brought flyers and stuff. Its amazing to see how semangated Msians are as well, even abroad yea. So they encouraged us to join. Yea shall. Associate ourselves with the food loving nation. Where mamak and lepak have become our national favourite pastimes.
Hmm just came back from shopping. Abit tired, but later can go out and have dinner in Thai restaurant so not complaining. Hehe, and I also have good news. I got an offer, Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland. To be honest, I didn't even remember sending in an application for UQ. That was during my SAM trials when dateline was 29 Sept 06. And so my mum helped me send. Thank God. But oh why UQ ? Dunno la, my dad a bit the kiasu wan. Send everywhere la.
Not like I'm gonna accept also. He even wanted to send an applic to Uni Tas. Seriously ar? I don't really have a good impression of studying in TAS. *coughs* The Tasmanian Devil?
But yea, so if I'm not mistaken, the offer I got is for a CSP place.Which makes it even better. CS what you ask? Wells here is what it means if you neva even heard of it. I copied it from this site.
http://www.goingtouni.gov.au/Main/FeesLoansAndScholarships/Undergraduate/CommonwealthSupportForYourPlaceAndHECS-HELP/CommonwealthSupportedPlaces.htm
I put it here cuz of some weird reason, I can't click on the link icon.
"Commonwealth supported places and students
A Commonwealth supported place is a higher education place for which the Commonwealth makes a contribution towards the cost of a student’s education.
You are a Commonwealth supported student if you:
- meet the eligibility requirements (haha, must be Australian citizen or PR only can)
- are enrolled in a unit of study that is Commonwealth supported.
If you are enrolled in a unit of study as a Commonwealth supported student, you will generally be required to contribute to the cost of your education through a student contribution. It is considered reasonable that students who directly benefit from higher education should pay part of the cost of their studies, while the Australian Government pays the majority of the costs involved. Your higher education provider sets the student contribution amount that you are required to pay."
Oh wells, getting the CSP place is really good, cuz it means saving money. The government pays most of it mar. And for the remaining sum that you have to pay, you can even take out a loan on that too. The HECS-HELP loan. Pay it back when you work or sth. How cool is that? Not as restrictive as Msia I should think. The only problem is,...the entry requirements (the TER) is gonna be significantly higher, for some courses, as compared to the international students. Like you Malaysians larh. It makes sense in a way, though I shall reluctantly admit, that since we ppl are paying half the price or less, the entry requirements being higher is naturally fair.
Which kinda is not so good in a way. Which means less chance la. I have bout a week and a half to decide though, if UQ is the offer I want. I'm still waiting for the others, which are coming out only on the 16th and 17th of Jan. Especially 17th Jan. Cuz that is UNSW, the offer I really wanna accept. I also applied for mostly all also la. Told you right, kiasuness. But at least for now, I have secured one.. And should I not get the offer from UNSW, *praying and hoping such a thing won't happen*, you know where I'll be heading next year. That's right.
I would love to be given the opportunity to study in Sydney. Here's Syd at night. A beauty, ain't it ?

When one good deed deserves another
Well for the past few days I've been selling all me SAM books, including three of friends ones as well. Was kinda forced into that. Not that I had any choice also. But yea. Last Sat, I sent an application for residential colleges. The Kensington Colleges at UNSW. They are kinda like hostels and all, food n lodging all provided. I highly doubt I'll get a place there, considering that the places are very limited, and the competition is like ..
UNSW currently has around 42,000 ppl on campus, including students and staff. Is that like a large number or what ? That's why the competition for places is very stiff. Even on the application form, they asked questions that I thought was a lil' unnecessary lorr. It was tough, but I answered it anyway, Miss World style. Don't ask. Just tried la.
Sent it in by DHL. Cuz' it needed to reach fast. There is no official dateline, but since the offers are coming out on the 17th January, we have to send it early early. Most ppl sent it by Nov already. It's not my fault. At that time, how would I know that I'll be getting the offer. Even now I still don't know. The UAI cut off last year for a CSP place in Bachelor of Commerce was only 93.00. And since I got more than that, just crossing my fingers lar. And wait.
Just that few pages of application costs MYR 72.45. Crazee lar. But I see why it's so expensive. It's the service. DHL provides this tracking service that allows you to basically track your shipment la. Everywhere and all the times it reached a certain place would be recorded. For example,
7.20 Shipment reached DHL facility in Sydney
or sth, and it tracks the whole process lar, until it arrives at its destination. How cool is that? No wonder la so ex, they must have spent a lot of money. All the software and programming that you need for this. That's why DHL and FedEx still remain the two top couriers.
Oh yea, back to topic. Then on Sunday I went to IDP cuz the reps would be there. And talk talk la. Then my mum, dad and I went to Burger King for lunch. And before we even stepped inside we saw a black case, quite slim wan.
Immediately, my dad said "It's a phone. What zit doing on the floor?"
And my natural instincts acted "Dad, don't pick it up. It's a bomb". No, seriously. That"s what I said. Don't know what I was thinking but yea..
So it turns out my dad was right. Not me. He suggested keeping it, cuz the owner will call back for sure. Then we can pass it back to him/her.
But I thought of giving it to Burger King. Let them do the staff keep it lor. The owner will look for it there, presumably.
Then my dad was like, "You think they'll actually return it ? They'll most probably keep it for themselves."
Yea, he was prob right. So we kept the phone.
Makan di, then left for pertama complex cuz my dad wanted to see the tailors. One of his clients who's renovating his house or sth. In the carpark, suddenly some unknown ringtone blasted off la. Prettay. Must be the lost phone. So we naturally picked it up.N90 weii, don"t mess. Exness. And the unknown voice said
" Hello"
" Hello"
" You have my phone you know "
" Yea we know. You dropped it outside Burger King."
" Serious? I went back there and checked but didn't find anything there."
" Yep, so we decided not to return to the BK staff and we’d know that you'll surely call."
" That's very thoughtful of you. Whereabouts are you?"
" In KL, in Pertama Complex."
Bla bla bla. And we finally decided to return to him the same place as where we found it the next day. And so we headed upstairs to the complex. I think most KL-ites haven't even heard of this place. It's really rundown, frequented by a certain race mostly, and next to Sogo. Nth to say la. Don't like the atmosphere there, smokers and rempits but they always have sales. And when you can get the same thing only for a cheaper price, why not? Just that there was an ORI Levi’s shop there and I wanted to get a pair of Levi's before I head off to Oz. The prices here are comparably cheaper anyway.
Yay, then came out later happily satisfied with a pair of 502’s tight straight. I bought it 2 sizes bigger than my waist just to make room incase I grow fat. I wouldn't know la really. It used to be so hard for me to gain weight but now, everything seems to be a reality. Not that bad yet la but still. And someone (forgot who di) told me, " When you go to Oz, you'll gain weight wan. Good food, good meat, good milk, and bread" Sth along that lines la. Having that in mind, I bought the a-lil-too-big for me jeans. Nvm la, I'll wear a belt or sth. Either way, I'll find a way.
And then my dad wanted to see his client, the tailors and so off we went. And I decided that I might need to do a formal presentation if I go to Oz. So I decided to make a suit. Yay, a classic pantsuit. Don’t like skirts. Somehow, they restrict movement and it looks feminine. Last thing I want la. OK I didn’t just say that. But pants are much more comfortable cuz you can KANGKANG your legs any time. Muahaha.
But somehow, miscommunication took place. Not really la, but we couldn’t decide whether to get me just the jacket or the whole suit. I tot jacket enuff ma since I’ve got some other black pants already. But its not right. Cuz the jacket and pants are different colour. Pants are plain black but jacket is slightly pin-stripish with very faint stripes of red and blue. Tot it looked kinda elegant, in the workstyle kinda way. But I told the auntie to make jacket only. What la, so now I’ve got to go back there again and make the pants as well.
Yea why did I suddenly talk bout this neway? Gosh I’m ever so cheong hei. Yea the good deed thingy. I’ve realised how easily that guy could have lost his phone. Had we left it there, or given it to BK, God knows what would have happened. He must have been the only person in history to have lost his phone and regained it back. He himself thought that there was never a chance in hell he could have obtained it back. Come to think of it, it was a nice phone. N90. But a bit bulky for me lar, therwise I would have taken it.
NAlar, just kidding. But who would have thought that he’ll get it back right ? Even like my phone, the one that was snatched not too recently, is like gone forever. I was telling my mum what a lucky chap this fella is la. And sth she said really brought me to my senses. She said that without me knowing, I was actually luckier than him. Yea sure, I lost my phone. But I didn’t bleed too much when I was lying on the road. Much thanks to the stranger who brought me to SJMC as soon as possible. Along with three other strangers who helped. And for that, I am eternally grateful. No words can express my gratitude.
As for the guy who found his phone back, he was lucky. Just not as lucky as me. I hope that he returns the kindness, by also helping someone out there who needs the help. Whatever it is.

Driving = Euphoria
I expected to sit in the front passenger seat and wait tilll we reach the driving circuit/ school there and learned lor. But guess what? Suddenly he pressed the handbrake and moved to the front passenger seat. MySpot la. Then hu's gonna drive? That only means one thing. Drumroll please. ARGHH!! Me..!!!??
Oh wells. I think he forgot that its my first class or sth la. The last time I drove, we were just practising round the circuit only.. T.T. But to drive now, oh wells amazing la..
My place here lehh, many slopes. Go uphill, downhill. needs more fuel and stuff. It's a good place to practise really. But i guess I needed to learn to change gears n stuff. So
Then along to sri petaling. Where I drove round and round. Sharp corners, obstacles, a lot of cars. But fun though. I do, however need more practise. The clutch is damn annoying. When I get a new car, it has to be auto. But for now, I guess I have to stick with this manual kancil la.
Oh yea, I hate traffic lights. The braking part's easy, but to start again and move. Engage to 1st gear. Let go of clutch slowly, but not the whole thing. Not too fast also. Slowly step on fuel. Slowly, not too hard. And not too fast..And finally let go of clutch. while constantly jamming ur feet on the fuel. ISHH. Major pain in the ass larh. Must think.
Oh, worse still, junction with no lights. To brake, look then go. SO annoying. Hais, the useless pedestrians crossing the road. Like they chose the best time to cross the road larh. Exactly when I wanna drive. Then gotta release fuel, brake slowly for them. ISHH!! People.
Anybody up for a ride driven by me? Hehe, honestly I wouldn't even recommend it unless u promise me that your insurance is well covered.
But on a more serious note, driving is fun!!
I still have a lot to learn. But I'm improving with every drive I take. I hope.
