Thoughts - Of 23rd May 2007

1. So nowadays, I've been backlogging. And when I say backlogging I mean BACKKlogging. Catching up on assignments, work, bla bla. Also doesn't help that the coming week is our SECOND LAST already. Ahh, my micro DQ next week. I gotta get up in front of class and talk bout Asymmetric Information. How boring. I'm yawning already.

2. So it doesn't help that my Net is not working properly. How to do perdisco la how? :(

3. My comp is filled with viruses. Like FILLED, trojan's and what not la. Also got "Surat untuk Edelin" which I presume is the cause and the reason behind all of this wreck. Doesn't help that my ipod video is sth THE wrong cuz of this crapp ler. I wonder where the SURAT came from. *EHEM.COUGH COUGH.* Nah, I won't disclose the soh zhai's name. Besides, I don't think SAM LIAU would like it very much if I published his name here. Don't take any files from him evbd! His C drive is corrupted. At least then ler. Dunno bout now. I'm gonna get u back for that Sam! And sry to evbd hu's usb/hdd has come into contact with my laptop in the last 4 mths. Bound to be corrupted di... SOO sorry. Ahaha. Now u know LAA. But now cleaner dii. After installing Symantec which the uni is giving out for free- in case u weren't aware, pick up at the UNSW I.T Services desk at the main library. :-)

4. Now that helped a lot. Much thanks to Tan Jyh Wei also- if u ever read this AHAHA. He was the one that discovered my comp was filled with virus LOL. But then ditched me and my virus-filled comp to go and watch Chasers. -_-". Ohh, this was how THE DISCOVERY of the virus filled comp happened. When installing Symantec, got some probs maa, wanted to look for hidden files and folders. And how u do this is by going to Folder Options.

For XP users, this would be Control Panel ---> Tools------> Folder Options

The weird thing is that my comp didn't even have Folder Options. Went to check my housemate's one as well. Don't have worrr...

And so we found out that if you don't have Folder Options, CHANCES are, u have been attacked by a virus.

Also, I discovered me Ctrl + Alt + Delete was not working. It was disabled, no thanks to the VIRUS. But YAY to Symantec, who discovered and deleted the trojans and viruses, I can now use Windows task manager properly. I have NEVER been happier to use Ctrl + Alt + Delete.

5. Sighh. I miss talking to someone.

Brrr...

Man, it's now 14.6°C here, which mind you, is pretty low for autumn. In Syd =)

Sighhh

in bout 2 hrs, at dewpoint gonna drop to below 12 ish.

Ooh, gonna hit the bed. I so don't need that.

However,

Sailor Moon

So like me and my housies were talking over dinner (what random convo's we have), y' day was Auntie Andre's turn to cook. Well he's not really an auntie la, just called him that cuz I can't rmb when was the last time we had a healthy healthy meal and eating healthy meals remind me of Aunties, for some reason:

Rice
Lettuce with hoisin sauce
Tau foo with sum bite-size chicken
and ginger chicken wings with chinese wine
and to complete all that,
herbal soup complete with the dates, and ancient herbs and what not which takes hours to boil.
O.o

Those are the odd times when we eat healthy stuff. Like just yesterday, when it was KX's turn to cook it wasn't that healthy laa. But nice tho', so it doesn't matter. Who cares la, we're still YOUNG. :)

Heh, over Fatt Choi Spirit on our DVD player, watching, munching, laughing. I wanna learn mahjong!!

But so THAT's NOT THE POINT!. The point is :

Our random convo's led to the talk bout Sailor Moon, and I reminisced, oh what fun childhood days, I loved Sailor Moon R and her counterparts. I was damn semangat to watch it last time, still AM. Haha. And so I remembered all the characters. But dammit, I didnt know there were Sailor Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and the like. I always thought it was just Moon, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Mercury. Which explains how I lost RM10 to my hsemate. Haha didnt dare bet in Australian currency. Not when it's 10 dollars on the line at least.

So yea, pretty good times those were.

I lurved their transformation times, I tell u, the times when they changed into the good HEROES.

Of curry puffs

And so I'm like surfing the net right now, with a curry puff right next to me. It's blardy hot weii. Hot as in spicayy. Got it at The Arcade (next to Mathews Theaters) for like AUD 1.50. O.o.

It's not bad la, like I said, but this is even hotter than the ones we eat in Malaysia weii. The amount of dried chilli and spices and what not. With every bite, I feel like I wanna go to the toilet. -_-"

Yea, and so why do I keep torturing meself eh?

Cuz' it's a challenge. OMG I'm bloated. I just makan the "hamburger and the lot". I think that's what its called. For AUD 5.70, I get like this super huge meat pattie in the burger, which comes with so much stuff inside, so they have an egg there, bacon, beetroot, slices of tomatoes, lettuce i think, cheeese, ham and even pineapples. Now the patty is THICK, not like McD's or Hungry Jack's. Yea, from Tasty Bites at the Arcade, pretty worth it eh ?

Now if only I could move.

Dammit second time I had curry puffs this week. First time at Sinma Laksa, opposite our apt. And again, today.

I'm going off to finish the curry puff now. I didn't even know there's this famous Msian store called Satay Delight at the Arcade.

But heck, every day u learn new things eh?

It's NEVER this way before,

somewhere along the line,

I think I lost my way.



It's hard,

I'm losing concentration,

I'm prone to distraction.



I try to question why,

But the answer remains the same,

I don't know,

Probably never will.



But all that's gonna change,

If that's what it'll take.



And so its CRUNCH time.

Of course all of us will say our mum is the best in the world,

but for my mum especially,

BECAUSE she withstood 18 years of nonsense and crap from one big spoilt monster/brat called Lee Na

and another 14 years of bullshit from another crazee woman who can't stop complaining all day

That, in itself, has to be one of the greatest feats EVER.

SO I wanna wish you a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
